HER NATURE
ANZ Gallery, 27 January — 27 April 2026

Her Nature highlights women artists from the ANZ Fine Art Collection, featuring works that respond to and draw inspiration from the natural world. These artists from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand interpret their environments through diverse perspectives, media, and genres. Spanning sculpture and painting, figuration and abstraction, the exhibition underscores a collective reverence for nature and an exploration of humanity’s place within it.

Presented for International Women’s Day, Her Nature celebrates the impact and achievements of these women artists. From Clara Southern’s pioneering pastoral landscapes to Fiona Hall’s international recognition at the Venice Biennale, the exhibition underscores how their contributions have advanced the arts in the region. Her Nature invites viewers to consider both our dependence on the environment and the artistic labour, cultural legacy, and unique vision of these women.

EMBODIED LANDSCAPES
ANZ Gallery, 07 April — 27 June 2025

Coinciding with Pride month, Embodied Landscapes explores contemporary photographic portraiture through a queer lens, blending surrealist approaches with honest depictions of the human body. Works portray bodies interacting within urban and remote landscapes, at once theatrical, futuristic, playful and provocative. Emphasising the diversity of the human form, this exhibition explores the symbiotic relationship between identity and place. Here, we are invited to consider how our perceptions of identity are shaped and expressed through different landscapes.  Artists include Lilah Benetti, J Davies, Karla Dickens, Lauren Dunn, Dennis Golding, Honey Long & Prue Stent, The Huxleys, David Rosetzky and Scotty So.
